About Smartphone Repair Japan

Smartphone Repair Japan is not an official repair service of Apple Store or carriers (SoftBank, au, docomo). Therefore, official warranties do not apply, but we have established our own warranty to provide reliable repair services. Please note that the parts we handle are compatible parts, not genuine products.

Service Features

  • 3When repairing, we preserve your data including contacts, photos, and music without erasing them

Repair Time

Repair times vary depending on the issue, but in most cases, we can complete repairs on the same day. However, depending on the repair content and store congestion, additional time may be required.

Warranty

Repaired devices generally come with a 3-month warranty. If any defects occur due to faulty repaired parts, we will provide free re-repair or part replacement. ※Warranty periods and content may vary by store. ※Warranty does not cover damage caused by customer negligence such as drops or water damage, modifications, or previously repaired devices from other shops.

  • We handle cracked glass, LCD defects, and unresponsive touch operation
  • We replace the surface glass, LCD panel, and touch sensor as needed
  • We can fix display issues and malfunctions

  • We handle internal water damage from liquids such as water and beverages
  • We perform internal cleaning, drying, corrosion removal, and circuit board inspection
  • We may combine part replacement depending on the condition

Battery Replacement

  • We address issues such as poor battery life, sudden shutdowns, and battery swelling
  • We replace with new compatible batteries and restore performance

Connector Repair

  • We handle cases where charging fails, connections are loose, or headphones/cables are unresponsive
  • We repair or replace Lightning connectors, USB-C ports, and other connector parts

  • We address issues where photos don't appear, focus fails, and lens cracks
  • We replace front and rear camera parts and repair lenses

  • We handle issues such as not hearing the other person during calls, low volume, and noise

Consultation & Estimates

  • Can you repair without an appointment?

    We can accommodate walk-ins without appointments. However, we prioritize customers with reservations during busy times, so we recommend making an advance reservation if you need the repair completed the same day.

About Repairs

  • How long does a repair take?

    It depends on the repair content, but we typically complete repairs the same day. Repair time may vary depending on how busy we are and parts availability.

  • Will my data be lost?

    In normal repairs, data is not lost. However, in cases of water damage or motherboard failure, there is a possibility of data loss, so we recommend backing up your data in advance.

  • Can you repair devices that other shops refused to repair?

    Yes. We have successfully repaired devices that other shops said were "not repairable," such as motherboard failures. It depends on the condition, so please feel free to consult with us.

  • Will there be a charge if the repair cannot be completed?

    If the device is determined to be unrepairable, you will only be charged an inspection fee (¥3,300). The inspection fee may vary by location, so please confirm in advance.

After-Sales Service & Warranty

  • Is there a warranty after repair?

    We provide a standard 3-month warranty on repairs. If there is a defect in the repaired parts within this period, we will repair it free of charge.
    ※Water damage and damage due to negligence are not covered by warranty.
    We also do not offer repairs by mail.

  • When is warranty coverage excluded?

    Water damage repairs, motherboard repairs, damage from dropping, and devices with repair history at other shops are not covered by warranty. If you lose the receipt/warranty certificate issued by our shop, it is not covered. This warranty is also only valid for those staying in Japan during the warranty period. Please ask our staff for details.
